Your guide
James Rivera has spent years exploring the forests, summits, and hidden corners of New England's trail system. What started as a personal practice became a calling — to share the restorative power of wild places with anyone willing to lace up their boots.
TPM Trail Co. — The People's Medicine — is built on the belief that nature heals the mind like medicine. Every guided hike is an invitation to slow down, look closer, and remember what the land has always known.
Wilderness First Responder certified. Follows Leave No Trace principals. Lifelong student of the trail.

Season one
With over 25 years of hiking and camping experience, 2026 will be my first season out here as a guide. Whatever the trail gives us, you can count on these three things.
Safety is my #1 goal! First Responder Certified and current, with a full kit on every trip. If something happens out there, it's handled with care.
We leave the trail how we found it, or better. Stewardship is part of the hike.
Two to eight people. Room to ask questions, go at your own pace, and never feel rushed.
The first 20 hikers of 2026 get 20% off a Fall foliage experience. All I ask in return is your honest feedback afterward.
No payment required now — James will confirm availability first.
